Vladimir Tretchikoff exhibition
Tretchikoff Renaissance, in conjunction with VISI magazine, recently opened the first major Vladimir Tretchikoff exhibition to take place in South Africa in the past 30 years. Guests arrived to find Wembley Square, Cape Town, decorated in vintage Tretchikoff prints, limited-edition canvases and wall art.

To add to the success of the evening, Tretchikoff's granddaughter, Natasha Mercorio, announced the launch of The Tretchikoff Trust which, through its fundraising and workshops, seeks to honour the legacy of the artist who lived by the credo, "Express your passion. Do what you love. No matter what."

The well-known painting by Tretchikoff, Lady from Orient, is featured on the latest cover of VISI, on sale now. The exhibition will be open to the public until 25 July 2008.
