Google is to begin imagery collection in South Africa for the Street View feature in its Google Maps with the help of Toyota SA. 
At last there is a flicker of hope in new car sales in South Africa with June accounting for 33,124 new vehicle sales - a healthy 12.5% increase over May 2009. 
TV motoring platform, /GNITION, will kick it up a gear this weekend, 4 July 2009, when it moves to its own channel on DStv 265.
