This weekend Sondag, Media24's easy-to-read Afrikaans Sunday paper, in conjunction with Dros kicked off with an exciting promotion. The promotion will run until end of August 2008.
Restaurant goers will receive a complimentary paper plus a free glass of wine or a draught when ordering one of the Dros specials. This initiative forms part of the broader marketing concept “Sondag - ons bring die kuier na jou toe.”
According to Margarethe Booysen, RCP Media trade marketing manager, this promotion is “an exciting opportunity in line with our marketing philosophy that affords existing readers the opportunity to socialise while introducing our product to Dros clients in order to attract new readers. With this promotion we believe we will extend Sondag as social brand.”
Responding to the question whether Sondag is planning more such social events Booysen replied, “Keep an eye on Sondag.”
