Matching the talent on-stage with three innovative television adverts and a variety of creative stings,
Lunch Bar's brand message - “Much, Much More” - has found a perfect fit with the country's biggest reality show. With adverts featuring talented everyday people, ranging from a juggling brick layer to a somersaulting trolley jumper, the adverts demonstrate the natural talent hidden within ordinary people while 10-second stings cleverly animate the Lunch Bar into a variety of talented stunts, including a leap through a hoop of fire!
Cadbury Marketing Director for Chocolate, Mike Middleton, is enthused by the talent seen on stage in the show so far. “
Lunch Bar is all about unearthing unique talents in ‘ordinary' people - and
SA's Got Talent has done just that!” he says. “The brand association between
SA's Got Talent and
Lunch Bar was an obvious one for us and we're delighted to help share ordinary South Africans' hidden talents with the rest of the country.”
So far the show has yielded surprising talent from contestants of all shapes, sizes and ages. “We've had everything from ‘The snake lady' performing an exotic dance with her 20kg python to a man playing his handmade didgeridoo, the talent is only going to get better - and Lunch Bar will be with the contestants every step of the way,” says Middleton.
In addition to the on-air support, SABC 2 and Lunch Bar have also launched a “SA's Got Talent” website which allows browsers to watch clips of the auditions, read the judges' blogs, discuss the show and win amazing prizes! Other support includes activations at the auditions, in-store media, billboards, print, bus branding, radio, Facebook and Twitter. Such a comprehensive support plan has ensured phenomenal hype around the show and it is already being rated as South Africa's most exciting reality TV production.
SA's Got Talent brought to you by Lunch Bar is broadcast on SABC 2 on Thursdays at 19:30.
