General Mills to add innovative limited edition flavours to the Pillsbury TubeSet batter range

Pillsbury's convenient TubeSet® product range, the innovative batter delivery system that combines all of the delectable taste of fresh ‘from-scratch' baking with versatility and record time, will also be available in exciting ‘Limited Edition' flavours, beginning with the heavenly Strawberries & Cream TubeSet®.
This coming summer, the Strawberries & Cream TubeSet® will contain everything that's needed for creating sweet treats like delicious mini muffins, frosted cupcakes, strawberry-marbled cakes, and even old-fashioned jam drops. That's because the Strawberries & Cream TubeSet® base batter comes with real Strawberry filling in separate pouches, making it easy to make a wide variety of delicious baked creations with little time and effort. The new Strawberries & Cream TubeSet® is a uniquely designed way for bakers to prepare delicious baked creations - from start to finish - in the time it would usually take to just prepare the batter from scratch.

General Mills Bakeries and Foodservice, the company behind the Pillsbury trade product range, is proud of its understanding of consumers and its accompanying commitment to providing them with innovative new products. With the new Limited Edition TubeSet® product it has gone a step further, including a detailed photo demonstration in the first 1,000 cases so that bakers and operators can access handy trouble-shooting guidelines, stimulating suggestions and useful tips.

The Limited Edition concept intends to generate interest within the muffin category, which is why new flavours will emerge every six months. According to Leigh Mervitz, marketing assistant at General Mills Bakeries and Foodservice, “Consumers are always looking for something new at the bakery counter. To support the launch, we have included marketing elements in the product pack so that retailers can merchandise the product immediately and ensure high visibility at point of purchase.”
